Falling out of blogging

I wish this wasn’t so hard. There are so many things I WANT to blog about, but I can’t seem to find the time to do it. I’m falling out of blogging and I hate it. I want to keep writing. I love the freedom to say what I want, without having to censure myself. Because, if someone doesn’t like what I’m saying they can move on!! I want to make time for blogging, I just need to figure out how. Being so much closer to my family is eating up my time (not that I am in any way, shape, or form complaining!) Ill find the time, Ill catch up on the things I want to write about (like Alex’s birthday party last month, and the very lovely blog award I received! Not to mention the New Years post I’ve been thinking about!) Bear with me! And if you have any suggestions on how to fit blogging BACK into my life, I’m all ears!!

Love, hugs and more to come later

  1. Lynn, It is okay to be busy. After all, you had little people to look after. No matter how rewarding it is, it is tiring and a lot of work. So, its okay to pause for a while and then start again. There will always be times where you would want to speak out loud but you don’t just because you are too tired to do that. Silence is itself a language during such moments and i am sure you will find peace in it too.
If you ask for tips, i can think of 2 things. Picture posts. Some times, a picture speaks a thousand words. Take a picture of whatever you wanted to post about and post it. You can come back any time later and complete the post. One more idea is to talk and record whatever you want to write. That way, you can save your thoughts when they are there and write them up whenever you find some time. I’m sure there are even software’s that convert audio to words. Not sure, but i will try to find out if you want me to. 🙂 I do the recording thing often so i guess it would work for you too.

Sorry for the really long comment. 🙂 Hope you had a nice Christmas. Happy new year and enjoy the moments. 🙂 Take care.

  2. It’s hard! I’ve only got two littles (and a lot of the time, one of them goes to daycare) and it took me a while to adjust.

I usually blog during down times. Sometimes, they only last 5 minutes. Sometimes, it takes me a week to get a 500 word post done. To make sure I don’t forget what I want to write about, I usually write my drafts in point form before writing them into (semi) coherent paragraphs.

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

    • I think I am going to start blocking out some blogging time for me everyday when the kids go to bed, before I get ready for bed. it might mean I am up a little later then usual but it might be worth it!
